Those houses were constructed by the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Department of Civil Security, under the sixth phase of its housing program.

In addition to the presentation of deeds, several programs were also held to distribute books to the children of the Civil Defense Force personnel, presentation of Scholarships to highflyers of G.C.E O/L and A/L Examinations, as well as to the presentation of laptops for the students those who are selected to the universities.

Defense Secretary Karunasena Hettiarachchi, Tri Forces’ Commanders, Director General of the Civil Defense Department, Chandraratne Pallegama, Chairperson of the Ranaviru Seva Authority, Anoma Fonseka, and Chairperson of the Civil Security Department Seva Vanitha Unit, Lakshmi Pallegama also participated.
