They exchanged ideas about working with Sri Lanka in the fields of education, higher education and postgraduate studies as well as investing and obtaining specialist knowledge.  

Victoria province is interested in providing investment and expert knowledge in the fields of hospitality and ICT.

Prime Minister Wickremesinghe invited Prime Minister of Victoria Province Daniel Andrews to visit Sri Lanka to further strengthen relationships and identify investment opportunities and Mr Andrews said that they hope to visit Sri Lanka next year.
