This new court complex will consist Magistrate Courts, District Courts, High Courts, official residencies of the Judges, archives, labour tribunals and the offices for the lawyers.

Minister of Justice Wijayadasa Rajapaksha, Deputy Minister Dushmantha Mithrapala, Chief Minister of North Central Province Peshala Jayarathne Chief Justice K. Sripavan, Attorney General Jayantha Jayasuriya, Secretary to the Ministry of Justice and the District Secretary of Polonnaruwa also participated.
