The President looked into the well-being of the Chief Incumbent of the temple, Urulawatte Dhammarakkitha Thero and offered Ata Pirikara.

The President donated financial aid to Andaulpata Buddhasara Thero, who survived from Aranthalawa Bhikku massacre in 1987 and also donated a van to the Thero for the convenience of his transportation. The President also donated financial aid to the disabled war hero H.A. Suresh Kumara.

Ven. Urulawatte Dhammarakkitha Thero presented one million rupees to the President to utilize for the temple development fund.
