President Mahinda Rajapaksa assured to launch a Bank exclusive for womenjoining the 'Rata Rakina Nil Pavura - Surakimu Maubima' Women's Convention of the Tissamaharama Electorate.
The President made a surprise visit while the convention was taking place under the patronage of Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa at the Singapore Hall on Saturday (02).
The President was warmly greeted by those present at the Convention.
Senior Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama, MP Malini Fonseka and the Womens Representatives from the areas of Tissamaharama, Ambalangoda, Suriyawewa, Lunugamvehera also participated at the occasion.(KH)
