Rikillagaskada is a village in Sri Lanka, located within Central Province. It lies between Kandy and Nuwara Eliya and has a hilly geography and is close to many tea estates.

President during the discussion, instructed the officials concerned to carry out road expansion, building construction, re-locating government offices according to a plan and in a most appropriate manner without causing much hindrance to the people.   The discussion also centred round the Rikillagaskade and Walapane urban development projects, Kandahandiya-Ragala road construction with two lanes, development of Handuranketha as a sacred city.

President also focused special attendtion to the traffic congestion at Rikillagaskada town and requested to take necessary action to minimize traffic congestion.(KH)
