Ven.Ambewela Pannasara Mahanayaka Thera who hails from Ambewela in Badulla was conferred with 'Aggamaha Saddamma Jothika Dhaja'  by the State of Mynmar for the enormous services rendered to the Sambuddha Sasana, by the Thera.

Ven. Prof. Bellanwila WImalarathana Nayaka Thera made a special anusasana at the event.

Mahasangha including Mahanayaka of Amarapura Sri Dharmarakshitha Maha Nikaya Ven. Trikunamale Ananda Thero, chief incumbent of Vidyodaya Pirivena in Maradana, Rajakeeya panditha ven.
