The felicitation ceremony was organized by the Sri Lankan Artistes' National Organization in view of the  honorary title “Keerthi Sri Janaranjana” bestowed on Minister T.B.Ekanayake by the Karaka Sangha Sabha including Most Venerable Maha Nayake Thera of Malwathu Chapter of Siam Maha Nikayain appreciation of the book written by him titled "මල්වතු මහා විහාරවංශ මහා නාහිමිවරු ".
 

The two books titled "මල්වතු මහා විහාරවංශ මහා නාහිමිවරු " and "Keerthi Sri Janarangana" were presented to President Mahinda Rajapaksa by  Minister T.B.Ekanayake.
 

The President handed over the felicitation souvenir from the artistes to Minister Ekanayake at this event.(KH)
