The building constructed at a cost of 40 million rupees is equipped with an administrative complex, an Auditorium and a Hall.

The President inspected the building Complex after its opening and spoke with the large crowd who were present on hearing of the President's visit for the opening.

Eastern Province Governor Mohan Wijewickrema, Chief Minister Abdul Najid Majeed, Deputy Ministers Susantha Punchinilame, M.K.D.S.Gunawardena, Eastern Provincial Council Chairman Ariyawathi Galappatti and Chairman of the Gomarankadawala Provincial Council Chandana Pradeep were present on the occasion.(KH)
