The President first called on Maha Nayake of the Malwathu Chapter Most Venerable Thibbatuwawe Sri Sumangala Thera and had a cordial discussion and thereafter he visited the Asgiriya Vihara and met the Mahanayake of the Asgiri Chapter Most Venerable Udugama Buddharakkitha Thera and had a brief discussion with the Thera.

 Meanwhile, the President under the program with Mobitel to distribute mobile phones together with connections to senior citizens, handed over a stock of phones with connections to be distributed among senior Bhikkus, to the Mahanayake’s of Malwatte and Asgiriya Chapters.(KH)
