Thereafter President Rajapaksa who came to Wanduramba in Baddegama held religious observances at the Wanduramba Bodhi where Ven.Gonagoda Pagnajothi Thero invoked blessings on the President.
A large crowd awaited the arrival of the President at Yatalamatta Junction in Nagoda and the President who saw the crowd stopped and spoke to the people. The people accorded him a warm welcome showing their gratitude.
Thereafter President Rajapaksa participated at the public meeting organized by the Deputy Minister Nishantha Muthuhettigama at Udugama Town in Galle.
