President Maithripala Sirisena extended the 5-year term of Ven. Dr Bellanwila Wimalaratana Nayake Thero as Chancellor of the Sri Jayawardanepura University for a further period of five years. The President handed over the letter of extension to Ven Wimalaratana Thero at the Bellanvila Rajamaha Viharaya yesterday (August 4).
