The University of Sri Jayewardenepura has initiated work to establish the Faculty to introduce Professional Education which targets new job market.

President Sirisena also commended the project by the University of Sri Jayewardenepura which fulfills the responsibility of a Government by identifying the highest demand in the world job market and uplifting education facilities according to the needs of the country.

Secretary to the President P.B. Abeykoon, Professor Mohan De Silva – the Chairman University Grants Commission and Prof .Sampath Amaratunga- Vice Chancellor of  the University of Sri Jayewardenepura were also participated at this event.
