    Sri Lanka prepared to investigate from start of war but not just last 5-days - President Featured

    The President said public support is always with the government and that he will  not be disturbed  over what was happening in Geneva against Sri Lanka, as long as the people are with the government. The President was speaking at a mammoth election rally in Maligawatte in support of the UPFA candidates contesting for the upcoming Provincial Council election from the Colombo district .

    The President said that the government always work for the well being of the country and the people. He added  that that Sri Lankans have been living in peace and harmony for a long time but after gaining peace some elements are trying to sow the seeds of religious disharmony in the country. He said all these attempts are targeting Geneva.

     

    President Rajapaksa  emphasised  that he is prepared to do a full scale investigation into what happened in Sri Lanka from the start of the conflict, and not just last five days.

     

    Ministers Pavithra Wanniarachchi, Wimal Weerawansa and Vasudeva Nanayakkara also spoke at the rally organized by the SLFP Central Colombo Organizer and Senior Minister A.H.M. Fowzie .
