Addressing the swearing in ceremony of the Cabinet of Ministers yesterday, the Prime Minister said a Working Committee system will be effective to make the entire Parliament one Government so that those who had not been appointed as Ministers can get involved in the Government’s programmes.

Development Coordination Councils will be appointed for every District. If so the entire Parliament can join this work. This is a National Government and everyone should work anew and discuss the work that is to be done.

Premier Wickremasinghe pointed out that the new political framework safeguarding the party system is an example to the country as well as the world.
