The alms giving ceremony was held with the participation of the chief incumbent of the Sri Vajirarama Rajakeeya Panditha Venerable Thrikunamalaye Ananda thera, Maha Nayaka Thero of the Kotte Sri Samagri Dharma Maha Sangha Council Venerable Ittepane Dhammalankara Thero, Professor Venerable Bellavila Wimalarathana Anu Nayaka Thero and Venerable Muruththettuwe Ananda Thero.

The Maha Sangha who attended the event, invoked blessings on the president and praised him for the measures taken by him to recognise the work of SrimathAnagarika Dharmapala who rendered a yeoman service to the Buddha Sasana.
