The Sri Lankan High Commissioners for Washington and New York has extended a warm reception to President Maithripala Sirisena as he arrived at the Hotel where he will be accommodated until the conclusion of his visit.

The President and the Sri Lankan delegation are scheduled to participate in the UN General Assembly scheduled to commence tomorrow.

The President is also scheduled to meet several world leaders on the sidelines of the summit while he is set to address the UN General Assembly on September 30.
