Children from schools in the districts of Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Kurunegala and Anuradhapura came to watch the school show held today. Also a significant feature was Prof.Ariyarathna Athugla and veteran artiste Jackson Anthony delivered short lectures on Dramatization before commencement of the drama. The reviews received from the school children as well as the teachers after the show were very high.

The cast featuring key figures in the fields of Sri Lankan theatre/dance will include Jackson Anthony,Sriyantha Mendis, Nissanka Diddeniya, Channa Wijewardena, Ravibandu Vidyapathi, Indika Upamali, Chathurika Peiris, Madini Malwattege, Janaka Ranasinghe, Kumara Thirimadura and Sandun Wijesiri. Music composition was by Samantha Perera. Nearly 200 artistes participated in the spectacular Drama.

The public show will be staged on June 28 at 6.30 pm. at the Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa Theatre.
