To mark the opening of the 1st ever Turf Wicket built by Sri Lanka Cricket at St. Patrick College Jaffna, the ExCo approved to play a cricket match consisting of former National Players such as Sanath Jayasuriya, Hashan Thilakaratne, Promodaya Wickramasinghe, Upul Chandana, etc.. in Jaffna.
