The Bridge Federation of Sri Lanka has decided to collect information of all Bridge Players in Sri Lanka with the objective of promoting and popularizing the game Island wide especially among the Senior Citizens. Details giving the name, address, telephone number and email address may be sent to Sarath Radallage, Secretary-BFSL, 60/5, Nilammahara Road, Maharagama (Tel.0725676878) in order to compile a central registry and update its data base.
The Federation has drawn plans to increase the number of players taking part in future tournaments conducted in Sri Lanka and abroad with the assistance of the Ministry of Sports. It is also proposed to conduct classes for those who wish to enhance their playing skills.
