    KOICA to support Education Featured

    The Resident Representative of KOICA Le Dong Ku agreed to fast track the construction work of the Technology Training College funded by KOICA when he met Education Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam. The Resident Representative agreed to provide further training to 100 technology teachers in Korea.

    Minister Kariyawasam during his visit to Korea last month had discussions with many officials and institutions and now the benefits of these discussions are coming to the educational sector in Sri Lanka.

     

    Further discussions in this regard were held by The resident representative of KOICA Le Dong Ku and Minister Kariyawasam Yesterday (10) at the Ministry.

     

    In addition the Resident Representative agreed to help in identifying the problems faced by Volunteer teachers. The delegation had discussions with the minister on measures to develop education.
