During the discussion, ways and means of expanding the strengthening relations between the Legislatures of Indonesia and Sri Lanka were discussed. Among the initiatives considered are the exchange of visits of the Speakers, establishment and intensification of interactions between   Indonesia- Sri Lanka Parliamentary Friendship Groups and with the Commission-I which is responsible for foreign policy, defense, security and media of the Indonesian Parliament.

The Speaker was accompanied by Vice Speaker Fahri Hamzah, and other senior Parliamentary Officials.
