    Sri Lanka, Bangladesh FTA discussions begin

    The fifth round of discussions to sign a Free Trade Agreement between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh began yesterday at Cinnamon Grand Hotel. The Sri Lankan delegation was led by Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishard Bathiudeen while the Bangladesh delegation was led by Commerce Minister Tefail Ahamed.


    The fourth round of talks was held in 2012 March in Dhaka at Commerce Ministry level.


    This time the discussions will focus on Industry and commerce, Airport and Aviation, tourism as well as Trade and Shipping and come to an agreement.
