The Global Korean Scholarship (GKS) was designed to provide higher education in Korea for foreign students, with the aim of promoting international exchange in education, as well as mutual friendships with the participating countries. In 2015, 110 foreign students from 64 countries will be awarded this scholarship, it said.
Eligible Sri Lankans who wish to apply for the scholarship are required to submit all necessary documents to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, 98 Dharamapala Mawatha, Colombo 7, Sri Lanka by 15 October 2014.More information is available on the Embassy website: http://lka.mofa.go.kr.
