Uhuru Kenyatta while extending his warm greetings to the new High Commissioner, highlighted the robust relations between Sri Lanka and Kenya in his welcome speech. In response, High Commissioner Krishnamoorthy underscored Sri Lanka’s commitment to deepen and strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation through the exchange of visits and promotion of trade, tourism and investment between the two countries.

President Kenyatta conveyed his best wishes to High Commissioner Krishnamoorthy for a successful tenure as Sri Lanka’s envoy to Kenya.

Krishnamoorthy is the 12th High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Kenya since the establishment of the Sri Lanka High Commission in Nairobi in 1976.(KH)
