    Oranization of Islamic Cooperation reaffirms support to Kashmir cause

    The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Suleman Check has reaffirmed OIC’s continued support to Kashmiris’ ongoing struggle to right to self-determination.

    He made these remarks during a meeting which was attended by the delegates from member countries of the OIC.

     

    He said that muslim countries have unanimous stand on Kashmir issue and high level moots of the organizations had recently passed resolutions seeking an end to human rights violations in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

     

    The Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is the second largest inter-governmental organization after the United Nations with membership of 57 states of four continents


    ​. OIC was established following a decision taken during the historical summit held in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco on 25th September 1969.
