On the instructions of President Maithripala Sirisena, all Cabinet Ministers would submit their ministries' annual plans at cabinet meetings, Mass Media and Parliamentary Reforms Minister Gayantha Karunathilake said yesterday.
He added that the President at the Cabinet Meeting held on Thursday (07) submitted plans of the Ministries under him, for this year.
He made these observations at the cabinet briefing held at the Government Information Department auditorium yesterday. Cabinet Spokesman and Health Minister Dr. Rajitha Senaratne, Army Spokesman Brigadier Jayantha Jayaweera and Police Spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekara also participated at the briefing.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
