The program has been initiated with the aim of helping the members and the business community to get current information of the business environment, under the relevant Ministry, its future plans, and other related issues pertaining to their sectors.

Minister of Megapolis and Western Development Patali Champika Ranawaka, will grace the first session of the program on January 22, 2016 for an interactive session with the business community from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Chamber Auditorium Colombo 10.

It will provide an opportunity for the business community to have a close interaction with the Minister and discuss future plans, present activities of megapolis concept and offer suggestions and views in relation to the area. The session will focus on Megapolis plan to transform Western Province, with Colombo as the main business center, as the most vibrant, cosmopolitan techno-savvy area developed with advanced IT, transport, communication, power and energy in South Asia.
