The Mihintale Rajarata University will commemorate its 20th anniversary with the launch of five books by Professor Ariya Lagamuwa, together with an aesthetics and arts festival on February 27, 2016.
The five books - Mihintale: The Spring Head of Civilization, The Goddess Pattini: Foremothers of Veddhas and Alms of Foremothers, The Sixteen Buddhist Sacred Places with Eight Buddhist Sacred Places, Archeological Monuments and Sacred Places at Mihintale and the Atamasthana Wansaya.
Professors Indrakeerthi Siriweera, Sena Nanayakkara, Ariyaratne Karuarachchi, J. B. Dissanayake, Dr. Leel Gunasekara (Chancellor, Rajata University) K.A Tilakaratne, will attend the ceremony.
