Light showers are expected in a few places in the Eastern and Uva Provinces and in the Hambantota District today (31st March) morning, according to the Met. Department.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central Provinces and in the Galle and Matara Districts after 2.00 pm.
Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are also expected and the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
