Horton Plains Police said that a large number of local and foreign tourists visited Horton Plains during the Sinhala and Tamil New Year season and they witnessed a large number of vehicles parked along the sides of Nuwara Eliya and Ohiya roads, a number of kilometers away from Horton Plains wildlife office.
