    National Chamber Seminar on 'Bilateral Trade between Sri Lanka and Pakistan' on 28 April Featured

    The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) will hold a session on "Bilateral Trade between Sri Lanka and Pakistan".

    The seminar will be held on Thursday 28 April 2016 from 3.00 to 4.30 p.m. at the National Chamber Auditorium on D R Wijewardene Mawatha in Colombo.


    High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka Major General (Retd) Syed Shakeel Hussain will be the Special Guest Speaker. He will be assisted by the Deputy High Commissioner Dr. Sarfraz A Khan Sipra.


    The Pakistani High Commissioner will speak on current business trend, trade potential, opportunities for export, import and investment, and other services available in Pakistan.


    At the session the participants will get an opportunity to meet the envoy and officials to clarify issues related to doing business with Pakistan.

     

    Sri Lanka exports to Pakistan include coconut, copra, natural rubber, tea, and spices while imports to Sri Lanka include cement, cotton fabrics, rice, medicines, and edible oils.
