Showers or thundershowers are expected at times today (30th May) in the Western, North-Western, Southern, Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces.
According to the today weather forecast, showers or thunder showers may occur at few places in the Uva and Eastern provinces, particularly after 2.00 p.m.
Strong winds could be expected at times over the country (particularly over Western slopes of the central hills) and surrounding sea area.
