According to Military Spokesman Brigadier Jayanath Jayaweera, as of Friday (08th July 2016) troops have completed repair work on a total of 825 partly damaged houses and handed over to the owners while work on 42 houses are continuing.
He also revealed that, in addition to reconstruction work Army also continuously working to restore livelihoods, welfare and public facilities of the Kosgama affected people.
