Division between public sector employees in their professions is a cause for the collapse of the public service sector, Minister of Home Affairs Wajira Abeywardhane said.
He added that all the public sector employees have a responsibility to bring the country forward and therefore, they should work as one team to achieve that goal.
According to him, as the Minister he is bound to protect the employees who implement the government’s policies to the point but, not to protect those who don’t fulfill their responsibilities.
“This huge state mechanism should be used for the betterment of the innocent and poor people of the country.”
