Fairly strong winds (up to 50 kmph) can be expected at times over the island today (25th April).
Mainly fair weather will prevail over most provinces of the island.
However, showers or thunder showers may occur at few places in the Western Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces.
A few showers can be expected in the coastal areas extending from Colombo to Matara via Galle during the morning too.
