Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Central and Sabaragamuwa Provinces and in the Galle and Matara Districts, Met Department said.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Eastern (particularly in the Trincomalee District), Uva and North-central Provinces and in the Vauniya and Mulathiu Districts.
Fairly strong winds about 40-50 kmph can be expected in the Southern Province.
