The State Minister addressing the first meeting of the Board of Directors (BoD) of the National Fisheries Federation recently at his ministry said that he would lead the federation to achieve the above task in cooperation with the international organizations.

At the meeting a set of proposals for the well being of the fisheries industry and the community were presented to the BoD by the State Minister.

The BoD also approved a proposal to give 1, 000 electric motorbikes to fisherwomen, who will begin self-employment.
