It started from close to Polonnaruwa Intelligence Corps and proceeded up to the Hospital Junction.  The procession organized by Polonnaruwa Parliamentarian Roshan Ranawana to express strong support for President Rajapaksa, had the participation of Sri Lanka Freedom Party supporters.

UPFA Polonnaruwa District Peoples' Representatives and District Leaders expressed their strong support for President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

The supporters said that President Rajapaksa was the leader who saved the country from three decades of terrorism, which paved the way for massive development with the return of Peace to the country.(KH)
