A special aircraft was scheduled to leave for India . The Army Commander said that they will all be quarantined as two Indians had tested positive for the virus. However, under the directives of President Rajapaksa, a separate quarantine centre is currently being established for them.

It was also revealed at the media briefing that in response to the Defence Ministry directive for all those who returned to the country between March 1-15 to register with the Police, over 400 persons had registered so far.
