He noted that this has been communicated to all Police station OICs. DIG Ajith Rohana also noted that all fines due to be paid during this period can be paid later even after the stipulated 14 days.

The DIG also noted that two police officers will be deployed at every house where occupants are in self-quarantine to assist them. He added that as a measure to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus in the country and for the protection of the public roadblocks will be set up at selected locations throughout the country.
