The fifth Covid-19 death was reported in Sri Lanka today (04) which was confirmed by the Health Services Director General Dr. Anil Jasinghe.
The victim is a 44-year-old male who was residing in the Homagama area. He had returned from Italy and was directed to a quarantine center.
He was admitted to the Welikanda Hospital on March 23rd and on March 26thhis condition worsened and he was admitted to the ICU. He is said to not have had any other illness.
