Minister Gunawardena condemned the individuals who spread false assertions regarding the relief package saying its food is unfit for consumption and stated that law will be enforced against those who spread such assertions.

This relief package is distributed to relieve the adverse economic conditions prevailing amidst the pandemic and it can be purchased at a concessionary price of Rs.1000/- as it has a market value of Rs.1300/-

Furthermore, masks which were Rs. 40 in the market have been reduced to Rs. 14 and SPC has given a discount of 20% for the price of exercise books.
