President Mahinda Rajapaksa last night watched the final Randoli Perahera of the Sri Dalada Maligawa from a special stand at the President's House in Kandy.
The traditional water cutting ceremony took place at the Mahaweli river in Getambe this morning.
The day perahera will parade the streets at the auspicious time 12.54 this afternoon. The credential marking the end of the festival will be submitted to the President this evening. (KH)
