The Nuwara Eliya District Hospital is being refurbished to provide modern health facilities for the patients. A six story new building is under construction. President Maithripala Sirisena inspected the progress of renovation works of the hospital.

He exchanged views with the respective Engineers and instructed the officials to speed up the renovations.

Parliamentarian C.B.Rathnayaka, Muwara Eliya Mayor Mahinda Dodampegamage, Hospital Director Dr.Aruna Jayasekera were present.
