The books, in simple Sinhala, have been compiled by the Thripitaka Book Editorial Board.

These books have been translated into Sinhala to give awareness to the people about the Dhamma in a simple manner. Chairman of the Thripitaka Book Editorial Board and Mahanayake of the Sri Lanka Amarapura Maha Nikaya the Most Ven. Davuldena Gnanissara Thero handed over the Thripitaka volumes to the President. Several members of the clergy and the laity were present on the occasion.
