    Pakistan rejects Indian allegations regarding Occupied Kashmir attacks

    Foreign Office spokesperson says Pakistan has been at the forefront of combating terrorism.

    Pakistan has rejected the Indian allegations about implicating it in recent attacks in Occupied Kashmir.


    Taking serious notice of the remarks made by Spokesperson of Indian External Affairs Minister, Foreign Office Spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said the allegations are baseless and design efforts to malign Pakistan.


    Tasnim Aslam said Pakistan has been in the forefront of combating terrorism and also biggest victim of terrorism. She said the violence in Indian Administered Kashmir is the result of decades of repressive Indian policies and imposition of sham elections.


    The Spokesperson urged India to understand that the people of Jammu and Kashmir would accept nothing short of their right to self-determination as promised to them by the United Nations.


    To a question, Tasnim Aslam said China has assured to complete Pakistan-China Economic corridor on time. She said Chinese State Councillor Guo Shengkun, during his three-day visit to Pakistan, had expressed keen interest in the promotion of Pak-China Friendship.


    She said Guo Shengkun also conveyed that Pakistan and China would work together to strengthen cooperation in counter-terrorism and stop drug trafficking in the region.
