The “Official mobile service 2016” will be inaugurated today (1st July) in Polonnaruwa district and will be held until 23rd July covering all the Divisional Secretarial areas in the district.

The people of the area will be able to get their land related issues settled through the institutions attached to the Land Ministry and the Sri Lanka Mahaweli Authority. It will also provide One Day services from government departments including the Registration of Motor Vehicles Department, the Immigration and Emigration Department and the Registration of Persons Department.

The officials of the Sustainable Development and Wild Life Ministry and the Department of Wild Life Conservation, Institutions such as the Vocational Training Authority, the National Apprenticeship and Industrial Training Authority, Lanka German Technical Training Institute, Vocational Technical University under the Skills Development and Vocational Training Ministry will also join with the mobile service.

The Divisional Secretariat level program schedule will be as follows. Medirigiriya: 1st and 2nd July, Elahera: 7th July, Hingurakgoda: 8th and 9th July, Welikanda: 12th July, Dimbulagala: 16th July at Aralaganwila Madya Maha Vidyalaya premises, Lankapura: 17th July, Tamankaduwa: 22nd and 23rd July.

The conclusion ceremony will be held on 30th July at the Polonnaruwa Royal Central College premises under the patronage of the President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
